Giant Angry Robot
I was inspired to create this giant toy robot based on the real life 3D artwork of another Second Life resident, Jacque Kerouac. He had created a cute little animated robot on his website and I started to look up images of robots using Google. I found hundreds of toy robots from the 50's and 60's that further inspired me. As you can see in this picture, he is huge in scale my avatar is show perched on his left shoulder.

He is entirely made from simple primitives. The texturing was all done in Gimp and imported as targa files. He is hollow inside and I later added teleporters that transport you inside three levels: the belly, the brain dome and the head. You can see views of beautiful Caerleon Isle inside this massive guy.

I also made a Second Life avatar from him in both male and female versions. And one of the New Caerleon scripting geniuses is making a fully animated version.
