Welcome to the new and updated site!
Hey everyone! I finally had a tiny window of time to do a few updates to the site! (I know, try and control your excitement).
BIG NEWS: a lot has been happening to me and my Real World avatar. My Real World avatar has taken on a new studio job which might end up being permanent! (Yay!) It extends some of the game design freelance work I've been doing over the last few years into some very new and exciting areas. I will be working with a talented group of writers, artists, muscians, animators and programmers making content for a wide variety of entertainment platforms including iPhone, iPad and loads of web-based and mobile platforms. Of course will be making games, but also TV, video webisodes and social network entertainment stuff. I will be learning some new tools like After Effects and Final Cut Pro. Exciting!!!!
OTHER BIG NEWS: I guess I finally hit the big time. Ha-ha! Feathers Bay Gallery got featured in the Second Life Showcase recently and several other galleries that feature my art have also been featured in the Showcase. So that's kind of cool!
REAL LIFE GALLERY SHOW: On April 7th 2010, the Virtual Art Initiative and the Caerleon Sims in Second Life and OpenSim hosted an exhibition of the art of virtual worlds in the real world Harbor Gallery of the University of Massachusetts at Boston. The Boston exhibition is part of an unprecedented international collaboration that exhibited the work of artists from more than twenty nations in real world galleries in six countries: France, Holland, Germany, Brazil, Australia, and the USA. And I was one of the featured artists! It also got some press coverage here and might get more in the coming weeks.
The video above (Mirrors of a Soul) was created for the gallery opening featuring my artwork and directed by the very talented Ted Evans.

OTHER GALLERY NEWS AND iCNN ARTICLE: The Harbor Gallery Show and the Showcase have helped build some real buzz for my Second Life gallery: Feathers Bay. Thanks to the awesome HUD created by Pixels Sideways and Pete Jiminy for the Harbor Gallery Show, Feathers Bay traffic has spiked again! So cool! Thanks guys!
Kiko Hunniton visited the gallery recently and also was shown the Mirrors video by my friend Explorer. She decided to write a really nice piece on iCnn. Click here to read all about it!
